Most cats could quite easily jump up to a height of approximately five or six times its body length. It’s impressive! But that’s how it will still be in meters, centimeters, or, say, in a parrot? Take the “average” home cat. Its growth in height is about 23-25 cm in length from head to tail 40-50 cm (cats are larger than females) tail has a length of about 30 cm.

For simplicity we take the average body length is 45 cm, then it turns out that the cat can jump to a height of from 230 to 270 cm!!! And a cat of medium size! But the bigger the cat, the, as a rule, can jump higher, so speeding is well, cats can jump even 3 meters! It’s amazing! The world record for high jump among men, established in 1993 by the Cuban Javier Sotomayor is-245 cm.
