The star of this video is a white lion named Aslan. When he was younger he was very ferocious the last year he lost his major canines in a fight. As you can imagine these are a lion’s primary weapons, so not only has he been an incredible pain from the loss but also been virtually defenseless.
Kevin Richardson heard about Aslan’s story and wanted to help. Kevin gathered together a team of doctors and they work for six hours on operation to restore Aslan’s strength. The operation was a complete success and they were able to release Aslan back to be with the rest of the pride.
You don’t often see lions embracing each other after a separation, they usually strong creatures who are used to standing on their own.
