There is something about a mother cat that is just adorable. They are sweet and wonderful, kind and they just love their babies. Mama cats have a unique and very amazing bond with their kittens, and it’s not something you can really explain unless you’ve seen it yourself. I have never had a cat of my own that had kittens.
We always adopted our cats and they were either already fixed or we had to sign a contract stating we would have them fixed as a way of ensuring we did not allow there to be so many kittens running around without future homes. We never experienced that, but we do have friends who have a cat that once had kittens. They thought she was a he, and it ended up being a little different than they suspected. The bond the cat shared with her kittens was amazing to watch. She was so protective of them.
This cat in this video is the same way. She is so protective of her babies it’s not even funny. But more than that, she loves them. She loves to talk to them, too. It is so sweet to see how much fun she has talking to them, and we thought we’d bring to you this amazing video of these cats talking and engaging with one another.
It’s simply amazing, beautiful and all around spectacular. It’s also a little amusing, because you just know that the cat is saying something hilarious to her kittens that probably sounds a lot like what you and I might say to our own kids.
