How close would you dare come to a momma lion and her cubs? Yeah, that’s not something I’d recommend either. All moms are extremely protective of their offspring especially after birth and unless you want to lose your arm (or worse), you better stay as far away as possible.
But the man in this story was given permission not only to approach the babies, but also hold and pet them. Sounds unbelievable? Just check it out.
The man in the video is none other than Kevin Richardson, also known as “The Lion Whisperer” and this is certainly the first time he met this lioness. He was there when she was born and was her caretaker, her friend and her father figure her whole life.
When someone is looking after an animal since its birth, that creates a special bond between them so it shouldn’t come as a surprise she trusted him with her babies. As a big cat over, I’m insanely jealous of his guy.
