This is one of the most incredible stories we’ve ever seen! How many people do you know who have a trained hummingbird as a pet? None? Well, that’s about to change in the next couple of minutes. But let’s start from the beginning, and this story starts with Rex.
Rex was a stray dog! In order to survive he had to learn how to hunt and how to fight. He was feral, almost a wild animal in a sense. He used to fight other dogs and kill cats! Then, he was adopted by a kind man. As the man himself says, it was very difficult to change Rex’s habits, as he never grew up to be a domestic animal, or a pet.
But only one month later things changed completely! One day, the once wild dog who used to kill cats saved the smallest bird in the world – a humming bird. When Rex found this poor bird it looked like it was dead. It was covered with ants and had no feathers! However, the beautiful shepherd mix was right, the little birdie was still alive.
