When cattle owners Adam and Emily Hopson realized that one of their Highland cows rejected her calf soon after he was born they just couldn’t sit and watch him die.
They brought the baby inside the house and nursed him back to strength.
They named him James and he’s the latest social media star. Animal lovers all across the world can’t get enough of this beautiful face… and who can really blame us?
It’s not just his cute face that made millions of people fall head over heels for him. Since he was raised alongside the couple’s dogs, the Hopsons believe that James indeed thinks he’s one too.
He loves spending time in the yard running around with his canine buddies and if you think he’s adorable, just wait till you see him wearing a costume.
Emily said: “He is the sweetest creature. He loves to lick us and the dogs. And to just lay beside us and be scratched and petted.”
So what does the future hold for little James? Since he is getting a bit too large for playful headbutting with the dogs, the couple built him an area in their back yard, sort of his own dog house. Other cows who had been raised by Adam and Emily didn’t take to him very well, the couple re-homed several orphaned calf so he wouldn’t be lonely.
