Dogs are the best friends we can have. They can give us so much love, joy and laughter if we let them into our hearts and homes. There is nothing better than being welcomed home by a wagging tail and a wet nose. Dogs are said to understand and interpret human emotions and expressions pretty well. This makes them the perfect companions—they love being with you and hearing about your day all the time!
Most dogs can understand words and human tone. They have an ear for the subtleties of our voices, which can help them interpret what moods their humans are in.
Dog owners will tell you that despite not being able to speak, dogs can always understand what they’re trying to say. But sometimes, there’s a bit of a switch in the roles—sometimes the human has to do all the listening!
The pooch in the following video showcases this perfectly. This German Shepherd was not having the best day. His mood seemed a little off and sad, but his mom was right there with him. She asked him what was wrong, and he started letting things off his chest without any hesitation. His heartfelt whines and grumbles are just downright adorable. This pooch was able to get his point across without even having to utter a single word!
