Mother dog terrified after kids stole all her puppies except one

A mother dog and her puppy who were found living in a trash can are now safe thanks to Hope for Paws.
Eldad Hagar wasn’t expecting to find the dog given all the noise and construction, but looking into a blue recycling bin he spotted two tiny shapes. Apparently, the owner of the mother dog sold her house and left the poor dog behind.

“I spotted the dog (Zoe) and to my surprise I also found a puppy.”
Knowing that Zoe wouldn’t leave her baby behind, they managed to get close to her and earn her trust. When Eldad asked the construction workers where Zoe’s other puppies were he got a sad answer.

Knowing that Zoe wouldn’t leave her baby behind, they managed to get close to her and earn her trust. When Eldad asked the construction workers where Zoe’s other puppies were he got a sad answer. “They told us that 4 days prior to our arrival, kids had stolen the other 5 puppies. We asked if they knew where we could find these kids, but they had no idea.”
Lisa offered the hungry mother dog and her puppy food. Mom was understandably protective of her puppy and growled at Lisa when she came nearer.
But after spending a few minutes with the dogs, Lisa and Eldad gained the mother dog’s trust and were able to put the Lucky Leash around her neck.
The protective mother turned out to be a very gentle and sweet dog!
After a few pets and scratches,Mama dog finally accepted the love her rescuers were offering. Soon she and her puppy are on the way to a better life. The terrible days as homeless, scared dogs were finally over.
When they arrived at their foster home, Lisa named the mother dog Zoe and the beautiful puppy Meadow.

Zoe is now at ease knowing she and her little one are in safe hands.
Little Meadow is a joyful, happy puppy. With amazing puppy spirit and resilience she has overcome her bad start in life. Watch as she happily invites mom to play and playfully chews on her tag.
