Put the dog, cat and rat together in one room – and you can expect the worst. But it is this trio recently appeared at the shelter in Oshkosh (Wisconsin), and they are best friends. Sasha (dog), Jack (cat) and Twix (roof) were taken to the shelter by the owner in early March.
“Because of the move, the hosts couldn’t take all three of them with them, so they brought them here,” said Cheryl Rosenthal, communications coordinator at OAHS. Upon arrival at OAHS, the animals were required to undergo a medical examination. Jack was first in line.
