We all like watching dogs doing things for the first time, they are adorable and we all have a good time watching them. However, in this case it is completely different, and you won’t have a good laugh.
The pup in the following video is a puppy mill survivor, named Harleigh, who is experiencing the human touch for the first time. She had spent all her life in a puppy mill having litter after litter of puppies until she was rescued. The saddest thing is that she was in a cage all her life and never had the chance to feel how it is to be loved.
One of the volunteers did his best to make Harleigh feel comfortable and enjoy the human touch. It took more than an hour for him to gain her trust. Sadly, when he left she was scared again. It will take some time and patience before she gets used to humans, but there is hope! Everything will be much easier when a loving and caring family adopts her.
