We all know that feeling when we have to get up early in the morning and get ready for the day, and as our eyes close, asking for a little more sleep and rest, we figure out there is no getting back to bed, but making it.

Now, as much as we hate making our bed every single day, Rush the pit bull loves doing it.
This sweet dog was rescued back in October 2015 and brought at the SICSA Pet Adoption Center. Ever since he entered the shelter, he became a bubbly doggy who got his own place to stay and sleep.

Everyone grew fond of the lovely dog, but it wasn’t until a shelter worker passed by Rush’s bed and noticed him making it that he became the favorite dog of people from all around the world. Rush really is a well-mannered canine.

Looking at a dog making his bad was sort of unusual and fun, and the staff later noticed how Rush actually did it every single day. They all agreed how it was the sweetest thing ever and wanted more people to see it so they put it on tape and shared it on YouTube.
The video of Rush carefully moving the blanket around vent viral in an instant, receiving millions of views.

Everyone wanted to meet Rush in person and a lot of news agencies were interested in featuring him. The shelter was happy to let Rush pose for different media as they thought this situation was a chance for the whole world to see the bigger picture about pit bulls and how great of pets they make.

“THERE ARE A LOT OF NEGATIVE STEREOTYPES ABOUT THE AMERICAN PIT BULL. IF WE WERE ABLE TO HIGHLIGHT THE CUTE CUDDLY POINTS OF RUSH, THEN WE CAN HELP PEOPLE LOOK BEYOND THE PIT BULL LABEL,” NORA VONDRELL, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF SICSA, OHIO, TOLD ABC NEWS.

Many people showed interest in adopting Rush, and eventually the right family showed up and the pup got his forever home.
The couple who took Rush in explained how they’ve recently lost their dog and weren’t really sure whether they were ready to adopt a new one just yet, but then they came across Rush’s story and knew it was meant to be.

As they headed to the shelter, something amazing happened along the way. The couple passed by a Cincinnati Bengals billboard that said ‘Rush to be there.’ As only the word rush was written with big letters, that was the only word they noticed and they took this as a sign they were doing the right thing.
