Maisy, the sweet pit bull, has tons to tell her mom, every day. She loves talking to her mom and her mom doesn’t mind her adorable gossips either. They talk quite often. Maisy’s mom, Marisa Elbert, says she is a very cheerful and chatty dog. However, things were not like this for both of them in the past.
Maisy had lived in a kennel outdoors all alone for three whole years. She was badly neglected by her previous family, who only let her in to try to breed her. However, when she couldn’t do that, they wanted to euthanize her. They even thought she was ugly and a waste of money. Luckily, a family friend rescued her and took her to an animal rescue.
Elbert had recently gone through three losses, her 13-year-old pit bull, her dad and then, a year later, her mom. So, her friend suggested her to take a look at Maisy on social media. Elbert fell in love with Maisy instantly and knew she was meant to be brought to her home.
