Taking the abandoned stray dogs and putting them behind bars of a human jail didn’t seem seem that different or more humane than throwing them in any kill shelter out there. But in fact, putting the animals that have been through some tough time in the same room with humans who’ve been through their own personal hell provides the much needed connection for both of them.
