Japanese Diver Has Been Friends With The Same Fish For 25 Years


Hiroyuki Arakawa has been given a very important job. For the last 25 years, he has been protecting a shrine beneath the surface of Tateyama Bay in Japan. The shrine is called Torii and houses many different species. Over the years, Arakawa has made acquaintances with many of the marine life species, but none as amazing as the friendship with Yoriko the sheepshead wrasse. This amazing creature recognizes Arakawa and how they greet each other is breathtaking.
