When this guy went sea kayaking he probably never expected to see anything but water, so when he say something underneath the surface struggling to swim he had to investigate. What he saw crushed my soul.
A single turtle started to approach his vessel, completely exhausted and barely able to move. At first he though it was a strange behavior but when he pulled it out of the water it all made sense. The poor animal somehow got entangled in a huge ball of plastic and other garbage humans toss into the ocean regularly, not only constricting its movements but making it difficult to breathe.
