Young man catches legendary Tennessee River catfish


The guy was lucky, he caught a huge catfish. Catfish is one of the largest predators inhabiting the underwater river world. With sufficient feed base, catfish is able to live more than one hundred years, while gaining weight up to 500 kg and growing to a length of 4-5 meters.

It is indicated that the largest catfish was caught in Uzbekistan about 100 years ago. He weighed about 430 kg and had a length of up to 5 meters. Unfortunately, there is no official confirmation of this fact. It is possible to meet mention that in Ukraine, in the river Dnepr, the catfish weighing in 288 kg which managed to grow in length to 4 meters was caught.
