OMG. Can’t. Handle. The cuteness.
This has to be one of the sweetest baby animals I’ve seen in my life. This is Obi, the baby pygmy hippo. Hippos are awesome animals, but I never thought their younglings were THIS adorable.
Obi, whose name means Heart in Nigerian Igbo language, is the resident of the Melbourne Zoo and when the time came for the first swim in his life, the staff made sure to capture the big moment.
He was escorted by his mom who never left his side, but the moment Obi got into the water it was clear there was no lifeguard necessary. The little one is a natural swimmer and oh so adorable one.
