Even the children know about the incredible abilities of chimpanzees. Many experiments were carried out on their unique memory. And in some of them, scientists were convinced that these animals are superior even to humans. Chimpanzees have a phenomenal memory, they remember details for many years. As Linda Koebner came back to the wildlife sanctuary, she did not know if her lovely beasts would remember her. The woman hasn’t seen her ‘babies’ for long eighteen years. She saw them first at the age of 23. Swing and Doll were then released from the laboratory, where they were subjected to numerous studies and tests. Then, Linda helped the two chimps adapt to the new conditions.
So one day Swing and Doll were ready for a new life in the reserve. After so many years spent in captivity, Swing and Doll were hard to get used to the new living conditions. Linda was worried that they could not cope with such a great shock. After 18 years the woman came back to the reserve to see old friends, whom she cared for four years.

The management of the reserve was worried that Linda’s meeting with Swing and Doll could be unsafe since chimpanzees are strong animals and are very aggressive.
