The owners of Happy Hens and Highlands Farm in Asheville, North Carolina, keep James’s four-month-old calf at home and allow him to play with dogs. James took a lot from his four-legged friends.

The calf was taken to the house after his mother and other members of the herd renounced him. According to farm owners, 33-year-old Adam Hopson and his 32-year-old wife Emily, James was significantly larger than the normal calf when he was born. “We thought he had some brain damage. He could not understand how is sucking the udder of the mother. He tried to help the vet, but nothing came of it. Then we decided to take James home, ” – said the American.
