Sleeping like a baby may be our way to describe a deep and peaceful slumber, but if you’re an elephant baby living among humans it’s really hard to sleep like one, especially if you’re growing up without mom. Aya Mye and Mary are the orphaned babies who were brought into the Winga Baw Myanmar elephant camp after the poachers killed their mothers. They were too scared to fall asleep for weeks until one of the caretakers decided to do something no one had thought of to calm them down and let them now they’re safe… She sang to them.
