Life is full of unexpected things. You never know what you are going to encounter during the day. And these construction workers know that all too well. They were clearing a way for electric lines when they came across a little fawn. The little baby was all tangled up in the fall path of a tree they were about to trim. He had gotten himself trapped in some thorns. Thankfully, the men wasted no time in rescuing him. The poor thing was pretty shaken up when they cut him loose.
So in order to calm down the deer, they decided to lift him up in their arms and rub his belly. The deer was so happy with the attention he got that he ended up becoming spoiled by the short encounter! He really enjoys the men’s company. According to the guys, he followed them around their job site like a lost puppy for about an hour, until one of the workers noticed a doe watching them from the hillside. They knew they had to do something.
They assumed it was his mother, so they carried him about halfway up the hill while she watched attentively. Then they sat him down and he ran straight to her, after which the mama and the baby walked off together. Check out how the baby deer reacted after his rescue in the video below!
