Her friendly personality makes her a perfect candidate to help others through her service. Essman says Rosie will be working in places like nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and working with children in schools.

“Rosie is very outgoing and loves people, which is an absolute must in order to be a therapy dog,” says Essman. Although it may take her a little longer to become certified to be a service dog, she is learning very quickly.

Essman is hoping that by Rosie becoming a service dog that she can inspire other people. She shows that those with disabilities or differences are born to do great things and they are just as capable of doing wonderful things just like Rosie.
