These Homeless Golden Retriever Dogs Have Their FIRST Bath

Dogs are wonderful animals. They are able to give so much love and loyalty that it’s hard to imagine anyone not wanting one around. That however is the case for a lot of these wonderful animals.

A lot of these dogs will end up homeless and not many countries have rescues and shelters for these animals and so they basically are just left out on the street, helpless.

There are two countries that have a very big problem with this, Turkey and Istanbul. For whatever reason dogs are continuously put out onto the streets and the most commonly seen breed that is abandoned are Golden Retrievers.

One rescue decided to do something about this though. Gold Ribbon Rescue took it upon themselves to try and rescue some of these dogs.

They were able to successful transport back to the United States 18 Golden Retriever dogs who had been abandoned on the streets of Turkey and Istanbul. It cost the rescue $1600 per a dog and that doesn’t include the cost of care and grooming when the dogs got to the rescue in Texas.
